Is Shared Thread free?
Yes, it's completely free while we're in beta. No credit card is needed to sign up. If we introduce paid plans later, we'll tell you well in advance.
Does my co-parent need to sign up too?
Yes. Each parent has their own account, so you both see the same calendar and expenses and each approve changes. After you create your family, share the invite code and they join in a minute.
What happens if we don't agree on a change?
Nothing changes until both of you agree. A requested swap or an edited expense stays pending until the other parent approves it, and if they decline, the original stays in place.
Who can see our information?
Only the members of your family. Your schedule, expenses, messages, photos and child profiles are private to your family and protected by access rules on our servers.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Shared Thread runs in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer, so there's nothing to download. Tip: add it to your home screen for one-tap access.
